Denver, Colorado Documentary Photographer

Hi! I’m Annah - pronounced: an-uh (my Dad liked the silent “h”)

I’m a Documentary Photographer in Denver. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Photography and have called Colorado home since 2019.

I have photographed countless weddings, women’s events, small businesses headshots, engagements and family sessions. I connect with people quickly. I’m too curious about life to stop myself from asking about the drink you ordered at a local coffee shop. I’m a professional conversationalist. I help my clients, friends and strangers feel comfortable and welcome.

My devotion to documentation and preservation of moments is my entire life. I have video footage of every single day of my life from 2016 up until today (yes really, today!) I make video compilations every year. As a record keeper and documenter, I bring this dedication to each of my clients in many ways- by scouting locations, arriving early, sending same day previews of photos and having a back-up plan.

I want you to feel like yourself. We’ll play your favorite music, I’ll reassure you before your wedding ceremony begins, maybe you need to take a shot of fireball or ground yourself with some deep breaths before we start. Whatever it is, I’m here for you!

In my personal and professional life, I’m an activist supporting and standing with women, feminism, indigenous people, small business owners, the LGBTQ+ community and more.

It’s important to be kind. Every person we encounter is going through some unspoken hardship. There is always room for more kindness.

When I’m not working, I still have lots of Gemini energy and love to dance, write, snowboard, attend meditation circles, go to concerts, thrift, hike & storm-watch.
