Boudoir shoots are all about embracing who you are in this moment. We can’t expect happiness to come to us once we have 1 million dollars in savings, weigh 10 pounds less, or once we aren’t scared to take action.

Why wait for happiness when it’s accessible now?

Your body is so powerful. It carries you where you need to go, it repairs itself when it’s injured. Your body is resilient and so are you.

There’s no “preparatory time” before a boudoir shoot. Some women tell me they might book a session later when they’re in better shape or feel more confident, but they’re missing the point that our bodies do not a represent who we are as people. Our bodies do not represent or determine our worthiness as humans. Your body is an experience, not an image.

These sessions are meant to empower you to feel confident and worthy in your body the way it is today. They are meant to accentuate your favorite features as well as fall in love with the parts of your body that you may be insecure about. It’s time to change the narrative we’ve been telling ourselves about being inadequate and it’s time we reclaim our innate power. During our session, always have music playing that you like, I demonstrate and guide you through all the poses and mostly, I support you for being the incredible person you are right now!

My sessions are a safe place, free of judgement and comparison where all bodies are accepted as they are. <3

What to Wear

Bring a few different pieces of your own to wear!

There is no wrong answer of what to wear. Above all, I want you to be comfortable and feel confident! If you’ve never had boudoir photos done before, some people find it helpful to bring some less revealing outfits to start with or something to cover up with at first. Lace kimonos are nice for coverage, bodysuits, 2 piece lingerie sets- whatever you love!

Any colors you love are perfect, just stick to solid patterns if possible.

Please bring any props you like or ask me if I have what you might need. The studio has mirrors, couches and chairs. Some of my clients have brought chocolates, lipstick and a shirt or hoodie that belongs to their significant other.
