Dance Photographer Portraits in Boulder
Kayla’s emotion in dance was beautiful to witness. She expressed such vulnerability in her willingness to dance for me after we only met a few minutes earlier. This dance photoshoot gave me so much freedom in my images and style. Instead of me being the one to direct the subject, Kayla put some music on and did all improvisation dance. Improvisation is beautiful. Each time is different and I loved witnessing this one of a kind performance out in nature.

Jess earned her masters in Environmental Studies here in Boulder. So of course we had to take photos near the beautiful mountains of Boulder. and stop at the Rayback for a beer to finish our session :)
