What to Expect

what’s the booking process like?

After we exchange emails or chat on the phone, I’ll send a contract for you to sign in order to reserve your session date. I’ll request a retainer fee which equals the price of your session. It can be made in two 50% payments upon request. Next, I’ll send details about your session location, permit information, a vision board with pose inspiration and a “what to wear” guide if needed.

what happens during a session?

We have a good time! It’s an experience, not just a photoshoot. If you’re taking engagement photos, we’re going to treat it like a date because it’s special! The entire time, I’ll guide you into poses, or demonstrate with prompts to make things feel as natural as possible.

how are my images kept safe?

After a session, I’ll upload your images to two hard drives that are automatically backed up to the cloud. You can guarantee the photos will be in my possession for up to 1 year from the date that your photos are delivered to you online. In addition to this, I don’t delete photos from my memory cards until your photos are delivered. I have many hard drives backed up with all of my sessions at all times.

when and how will I receive my photos?

I do my best to send some preview images to you within 24 hours. Your entire gallery will be completed within 1-4 weeks unless told otherwise. This gallery is delivered via email in a private, password protected online gallery. The photos remain available there for 1 year after the gallery is delivered.
