Emily and Michael’s wedding in Boulder at Wedgewood and Chautauqua was a windy, but gorgeous day in the foothills of Boulder.
They both got ready for the day at the Residence Inn by Marriott Boulder Canyon. The rooms has lovely light and were perfect for the photos we needed before leaving to go to Chautauqua for a first look!
When we arrived at Chautauqua, I led Michael to the base of the mountain to wait for Emily. Their first look was wonderful and we took some photos of immediate family before heading to Wedgewood.
Wedgewood has a lot of space for photos with different backdrops and nature scenes. We were able to go down near the creek for some portraits before the ceremony on the lawn. Afterwards, the cocktail hour was out on the patio and dinner was held in a big tent outside. It’s fully insulated and has gorgeous chandeliers inside. Finally, we moved to another area of the building to open the dance floor and have desserts!
The ceilings were tall enough and worked well for the Hora! The Hora is my favorite part of a jewish wedding because of the energy and fun photos I’m able to capture.
Wedgewood Weddings Boulder is a great place for a wedding. It’s easy for guests to stay in a hotel nearby and also be close to the mountains to see all that Boulder offers with nature!
