This elopement at Chautauqua in Boulder, CO was beautiful. We caught a break from the cold February weather and the sun came out for a 50, 60 degree day! It was perfect. We had a little ceremony in the open area at the bottom on Chautauqua then drove up Flagstaff to take photos at some lookout points. Lauren and Ken were giddy with excitement the entire time. Telling each other “I love you” at any chance they got, and really taking the day in. I hardly even needed to prompt them for poses! I loved this winter elopement. It was a little more quiet than usual in Boulder this day, and it was magical.

Cecilia and Hector eloped on the special day of 2/22/22. This was expected to be one of the coldest days so far of winter in the Denver area as well as a weekend for some of the most anticipated snowfall. I knew everything would be great as long as Cecilia and Hector were excited about embracing the cold- and they were! I was amazed at how composed they were in the 6 degree weather. Plus, it was snowing the entire time! Their adorable daughter came along as well for some photos and she was in such high sprits the whole time too! The weather conditions made this all so magical. It was so easy to see how much love Cecilia and Hector have for each other. I loved documenting this adventurous event for them.

Taylor and Keith’s Lake Isabelle Sunrise Elopement - August 2020

Taylor and Keith decided to self solemnize in Colorado. Colorado is one of the few states that allows couples to get married without an officiant or witness. We had an early morning and met at the trail head around 4:45am. We hiked a few miles up to the lake and arrived just as the sun was coming up. The color on the mountains was changing every minute- it was gorgeous and only 45 degrees. We took lots of photos, drank some Prosecco and hiked back to the parking lot by 8am. Almost everyone we saw congratulated them as we hiked back. Taylor and Keith are such an inspirational couple. They are activists and always making their voices heard. I’m always in a great mood after I spend time with them. This morning adventure was one of my favorites so far, good company and amazing views!
