Lany and her sweet pup, Morro met me in Boulder to take photos. Lany is about to graduate with her Master’s in Psychology and she’s also publishing a book!

One of my favorite parts of taking photos for people one on one is being able to connect. Asking questions and being observant is what I’m best at. These photo sessions can feel intimidating at first. But that’s why conversation is so crucial for me to include in our sessions. I help you feel comfortable and to forget that you’re nervous! Bringing your dog with helps too :)

This senior photo shoot was great. The views of the flat irons are gorgeous here and it was a nice warm afternoon. I had spent the week in Boulder dog sitting and was feeling kind of off a day or two before this session. Once I got outside and meet Martin and his Mom, everything was great. My favorite part of photo sessions are getting to know people. I love connecting and helping people feel comfortable/confident in their photos. After spending an hour together taking photos, my mood had lifted 10x higher than it was before. I’m always amazed at how powerful sunshine, nature and good energy is.

Jessie is a PhD student in Colorado. She is so smart and a great person to be around. She’s such a conversationalist and has the best intentions as a friend and person. Jessie only needed a new photo for LinkedIn account, so we did a 25 ish minute session by the creek in Golden and I had over 50 photos to send her by the end of it. The creek spot was perfect for what we needed.

This photoshoot with Ryann was beautiful. The last time we saw each other was in February! 6 months later, we got together to make more magic for Ryann’s business. We wanted to take advantage of the beautiful wildflowers in Boulder so we found a pretty, secluded open field to take some photos at before going to Boulder creek. I love spending an hour or so with Ryann to take photos and talk about life.

Ryann’s Women's Business Coach Headshot Session at Betasso Preserve - Boulder, CO was beautiful. Ryann and I realized halfway through our session while chatting that we actually met each other about 2 years ago at an entrepreneur meeting in Boulder and we have a mutual friend! I love these sessions. We were able to spend time getting to know each other while getting natural photos for Ryann’s business.
