Mallory and Michael’s wedding at the St. Julien in Boulder
*Second shot with Eleanor at Be Boulder Photography
This was such a refreshing and fun day. When Eleanor and I arrived to Mallory’s room, Michael was there too- they hadn’t changed into their wedding attire yet, but I have to assume they were in such high spirits because they weren’t stressing about not having seen each other for an entire day! I went with Michael to his room to wait for Mallory to be ready for the first look.

Their first look was adorable. Seeing couples feed off of each other’s energy and excitement on their wedding day is beautiful. These two were cheering to their guests from their balcony, dancing around and excited for the ceremony next! We also got to see the shirt that Michael was wearing when Mallory first met him that ended up being a conversation starter.

At the St. Julien, the courtyard faces west so everyone has a view of the mountains in the distance during the ceremony. It’s spacious, beautiful and located near downtown Boulder so it’s convenient for guests coming in from out of town. This ceremony was lovely.

Their dinner reception was gorgeous and everyone remained giggly when it started to rain just as dinner was served. Luckily it only lasted a few minutes, but it made the evening a but more interesting!

Finally, their reception was inside the hotel in a large room where their favorite band played music all night. The women dancing in high heels with ease was probably the most impressive part of the night for me haha It was such a fun crowd of course because Mallory and Micheal are awesome! If you’re considering a full wedding day, the St. Julien is a great venue with variety for locations and space for many guests.
