Bryan and Jessica traveled from Ohio to Colorado for a vacation that ended in the most special way. Bryan contacted me a few weeks before their trip to coordinate details for a Monday morning proposal in the Rocky Mountains. when I arrived, it was chilly, but gorgeous as the sun began to illuminate the mountain peaks.

I walked to our decided spot and waited for Bryan and Jessica. With couples who have never met me, the “hiding in plain sight” method works the best. The proposal was perfect and Jessica had no clue it was going to happen since their trip was coming to an end.

After the proposal, we caught our breath and walked the loop at Sprague Lake for their photos as a newly engaged couple! Because most people are caught off guard with a proposal like this, I offer posing and guidance throughout the session to help couples feel relaxed and to enjoy the moments of being so newly engaged.

Proposals are special whether or not you have photos taken, but I’ll always recommend it :)
