I woke up at 3:45am for this hike. I drove to Ward while listening to Clozee’s new song “Falling in Love” and thought about how grateful I am to live in Colorado and be able to go for sunrise hikes on Friday mornings.

It was only 45 degrees when I started hiking, but it got warmer quickly. I got to the lake just as the sun was coming up and changing color on the mountains. I only saw 1 other person on the way up to the lake on this hike and loved all the color along the way.

Fatima and Roy’s North Avenue Beach Sunrise Engagement Session was beautiful. We met right before sunrise and wandered around the beach area for a few hours. Fatima and Roy have been together almost as long as I’ve known Fatima- about 7 years. They are an amazing couple, I loved documenting this engagement session for them and especially at sunrise.
